Clay Aiken to discuss Obama's endorsement of gay marriage

President Barack Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage has become a topic of wide discussion throughout the world. Before the presidential election 2012 it being the lead topic of TV show and similar is going to be taken place where “American Idol” alum Clay Aiken will be a guest this weekend on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” Clayton Holmes "Clay" Aiken began his rise to fame on the second season of the television program American Idol in 2003.

The topic will be President Barack Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage. Other panelists are  Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council; Mark McKinnon of Newsweek; and Evan Wolfson of Freedom to Marry. The program starts at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on WKMG-Channel 6. Also discussing the president’s comments will be Gov. Deval Patrick, D-Mass., and former Solicitor General Ted Olson. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., discusses the latest on the terrorist bomb plot. A panel on women voters brings together Romney supporter Bay Buchanan, Obama supporter Anita Dunn, Norah O’Donnell of CBS and Melinda Henneberger of The Washington Post.

“Fox News Sunday” talks to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Sen. John Thune, R-S.D. The program starts at 9 a.m. on WOFL-Channel 35. The panel will be Brit Hume, Juan Williams, Paul Gigot of The Wall Street Journal and Liz Marlantes of The Christian Science Monitor.

ABC’s “This Week” welcomes Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., and Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn. The program starts at 11 a.m. on WFTV-Channel 9. The panel will be Republican strategist Mary Matalin, Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen, Politico reporter Maggie Haberman, Ralph Reed, former executive director of the Christian Coalition; and former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, host of Current TV’s “Viewpoint.”

CNN’s “State of the Union” welcomes Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill,, and Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, for a discussion about the election and economy. The program starts at 9 a.m. and noon. Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., and Rep. Peter King, R.N.Y., discuss the Secret Service scandal, U.S.-Taliban negotiations and the investigation into the leak of the Al Qaeda mole. Other guests are Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., Gary Bauer, chairman of the Campaign for Working Families and president of American Values; and Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” features Reince Priebus, chair of the Republican National Committee, and Gov. Martin O’Malley, D-Md., chair of the Democratic Governors Association. The program starts at 9 a.m. on WESH-Channel 2. The panel will be Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif.; Al Cardenas, president of the American Conservative Union; Kathleen Parker of The Washington Post; Jonathan Capehart of The Washington Post; and MSNBC host Chris Matthews.
