Arnold Schwarzenegger's new memoir "Total Recall" will tell everything untold about the actor politician. The memoir will come out Monday. In it he made a dashing disclosure that he had a "hot affair" with Brigitte Nielsen, his co-star in "Red Sonja" 1985.
A few months ago Arnie admitted to cheating on wife Maria Shriver and fathering a love child with a member of their household staff in the 1990s. Arnie said that he wasn’t married to Shriver at the time of the affair. The affair started in 80s when they acted in "Red Sonja."
For now, all we know is that Schwarzenegger said that it was a “hot affair.” He also said that the he knew his fling with Nielsen wouldn’t last. In fact, Arnie decided that he wanted to marry Maria Shriver shortly after his relationship with Nielsen ended.
Isn’t that sweet…
Schwarzenegger and Nielsen’s relationship isn’t exactly new news. The affair was made public last year when Nielsen wrote about the affair in her memoir. This appears to be the first time, however, that Schwarzenneger has publicly admitted to sleeping with Nielsen.
According to the actress, the fling occurred while filming Red Sonja. Nielsen said that she did not know at the time that Arnie was in a serious relationship with Shriver.
“How serious it was with her, I don’t know. He never spoke about her — and the way he was living his life with me, I felt I was the only one. Then I realized about him and Maria and, wow, I felt cheated. Maybe I wouldn’t have got into it if he said ‘I’m going to marry Maria and this is dead serious,’ but he didn’t, and our affair carried on.”
