"The Voice" is a "rebirth" for veteran popstar Christina Aguilera

"The Voice" the new album by Christina Aguilera is a "rebirth" for the singer herself as she thinks it to be. It is a comeback album after two years and two seasons from this veteran pop star With more than a decade in the music business behind her, the album will be a culmination of "everything I've experienced up until this point," the 31-year-old pop star said in a recent interview.

"I've been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on ('The Voice'), having had a divorce," she said. "This is all sort of a free rebirth for me." Aguilera and Jordan Bratman were married for five years before she filed for divorce in 2010. They have a 4-year-old son, Max.

Her new album's first single, "Your Body," was produced by Max Martin, who also produced Aguilera's last hit, the Maroon 5 smash "Moves Like Jagger," where she was featured. "I'm embracing many different things, but it's all feel-good," she said of the album's material, including tracks that are "superexpressive" and fun, with moments that are "supervulnerable."

The new album, which is without a release date or announced title, will feature fellow "Voice" coach Cee Lo Green and comes two years after Aguilera's lackluster "Bionic," which has sold 310,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That album featured electronic and dance-flavored tracks as well as pop ballads; it's her only album to not reach platinum status.

"In the fashion that I always like to put forth, it's very self-expressive and it's all heartfelt," Aguilera said of her new material. Adam Levine, Maroon 5 frontman and a "Voice" coach, told Aguilera at a recent news conference for the show that he'd heard "Your Body" and added, "I hate you because it's so good." Aguilera will perform the song on NBC's "The Voice" on Sept. 17. The show's third season starts Sept. 10.

The Session marks the hot and bold return of Oscar Winer Helen Hunt

1997 Oscar winner for her powerful performance in "As Good As It Gets" Helen Hunt has taken a daring step with her hot return in a new film "The Sessions" which is also earning Oscar buzz. The film, formerly titled The Surrogates, was one of this year’s best reviewed films at the Sundance Film Festival, and is the first film of the year so far to get the Oscars buzzing.

In the film, Hunt plays a sex therapist, which is being called her “boldest move” on the big screen thus far in her career. Her character’s career as a sex therapist is a bit unconventional, and takes a hands-on approach. The original title of the film hints to her actual profession, a sex therapist that gets in bed with you to help you work out exactly what you’re doing wrong (emotionally, you pervs), hence the title “surrogate.”

For Hunt, she hasn’t starred in a film that’s gotten her this much critical acclaim since 1997′s As Good As It Gets, which also got her an Oscar, coincidentally.

The film is based on a true story, and pairs Hunt with a paraplegic client played by John Hawkes. For his part, Hawkes is also getting some Oscar buzz all his own, with early calls for a best actor Oscar nod. So far, the film boasts the dramatic audience award, a special jury prize for ensemble acting, and a standing ovation at Sundance t’boot.

The 49-year-old actress goes nude for the role, in which she helps Hawkes’s character lose his virginity before his health deteriorates too much for it to be possible.

The Sessions also stars William H. Macy and Rhea Perlman. It was written and directed by Ben Lewin, and is set for theaters on October 26.

The Fastest server Serena Williams in "Late Night Show"

Serena William with the gorgeous dress

The Olympic gold medal and many more medal winner Serena Williams has become one of the most prolific tennis players of all time. Serena plays with an aggressive play style that has changed the way the game is played and viewed. Her serve is often considered by expert analysts to be the greatest serve delivered by a female tennis player. The power and consistency of her serves is only one aspect of her dynamic tennis game, one that includes a brutal forehand and a striking double-handed backhand.

The famous serve
Recently she visited the "Late Night Show" sporting a skin-tight red dress with a plunging neckline that caused her to call out to David Letterman, "I think I saw your eyes almost pop out there." To which he responded, "Well I think so." The only detail more jaw-dropping than the 30-year-old's Victoria Beckham-designed frock was her giant diamond ring. It was a dress the 64-year-old host felt he had to comment on, even if it meant sounding like a dirty old man.

Letterman: “Wow, Boy do you look great!”
Serena: “Thank you. I saw your eyes almost pop out there.”
Letterman: “Well, I think so.”
Serena: “We can’t have that.”
Letterman: “That’s not the only thing—um, I didn’t hear that.”

And that folks was the beginning of a David Letterman-Serena Williams Viagra commercial.

Prince Harry: Subject of another hot gossip being snapped nude

This is the last but not the least, Prince Harry has turned into a mass gossip doing another dashing job. Last weekend TMZ posted naked photos of this single British royal, 27, partying in a Las Vegas hotel room. TMZ published two photos of a naked Harry "during a raging party in a high rollers hotel suite" at the Wynn Las Vegas resort and casino.

"We're told Harry, along with a large entourage, went down to the hotel bar and met a bunch of hot chicks ... and invited them up to his VIP suite," the celebrity news Web site said. They eventually played strip billiards, a variation of traditional billiards in which players remove clothing when they lose a shot.

"Some of the partiers snapped photos of the madness," the site said of the Friday bash. In one photo, Harry cups his genitals while a seemingly topless woman in panties stands behind him. In the second, Harry bear-hugs an evidently nude woman from behind. The site did not identify the women.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the photos are of the 27-year-old younger son of Prince Charles and Diana, princess of Wales.

"Prince Harry has been on a private holiday before he resumes his military duties," a palace official told CNN, a sister news organization to TMZ. The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph said the incident "risks embarrassing Buckingham Palace and raises questions about the prince's security arrangements."

Harry, officially Prince Henry of Wales, has recently sought to distance himself from his early-20s image as a "playboy," the newspaper said. He stood in for Queen Elizabeth II at the London Olympics closing ceremony Aug. 12. He was in Washington in May to accept a humanitarian award from former Secretary of State Colin Powell for his work honoring wounded servicemen and women.

Kobe Bryant's wife Venessa changed her mind about her champion husband

London Olympic, basketball, winner Kobe Bryant’s wife might change her mind divorcing as she recently told "New York" magazine that any man she calls "husband" must be a champion. In twitter Vanessa Bryant posted that she wouldn't marry someone who can’t win rings, but apparently her grip on husband Kobe isn’t all that tight. Vanessa Bryant denied that she underwent plastic surgery after some reports said she sought cosmetic help keep Kobe from wandering.

Vanessa Bryant’s representatives blasted the report as “100 percent not true” and “ridiculous,” the Daily Mail reported. The rumors were fueled by Vanessa Bryant’s appearance at the 2012 London Olympics, where she looked different than previous outings, leading many to believe that plastic surgery was behind the transformation.

Those rumors were fueled by reports from the National Enquirer in which an unnamed source said that Kobe Bryant’s wife felt insecure and wanted to take any measure she could to keep Kobe happy.

The changes were obvious. Her hair once had blonde highlights but now appeared raven black, and then there was the kicker — her skin tone, lips, brow and the tip of her nose all looked like they had work done. Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon, confirmed to the National Enquirer that it appeared Kobe Bryant’s wife had some work done.

It might be telling that Vanessa Bryant may not have exactly denied having plastic surgery — just that she didn’t do it to keep Kobe on a leash. In any respect, the denial won’t do much to quell rumors that Kobe has been straying from his wife. When Kobe Bryant’s wife filed for divorce late in 2011 there were reports that he had affairs with multiple women, Fox News Latino reported.

Just in the last month more cheating rumors emerged to sting Kobe Bryant’s wife, this time claiming Kobe was stepping out on her with  Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice. The swimmer has denied the rumors, saying the two were just friends.

This means that this video is a treat to both fans and armchair analyst alike. In this video, there are five important moments that each rife with a psychological meaning.

A lot might have a different interpretation to these key scenes in Perry’s video but there is no doubt that this single has a lot of message and is a definite hit. A lot are influenced by the song and local artists all over the world are making their own cover version of the song.

Edinburgh airport could not sustain Picasso painting, though famous

Picasso Nude Painting
The Edinburgh Airport authority wanted to have a different look to their premises with a famous artwork by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. But on the contrary it became the issue of criticism and they at last covered it with white vinyl on Tuesday and finally put is back.

The airport was forced to put Picasso’s “Nude Woman in a Red Armchair” back on display after previously covering it with vinyl because passengers found it too risqué.

Gallery chiefs branded their decision as “bizarre” and the move sparked much criticism over the internet. Just a day later, the airport revoked their decision.

"It is obviously bizarre that all kinds of images of women in various states of dress and undress can be used in contemporary advertising without comment,” said John Leighton, director-general of the National Galleries of Scotland, “but somehow a painted nude by one of the world's most famous artists is found to be disturbing and has to be removed.”

According to an Edinburgh Airport spokeswoman, the initial decision to cover the poster was "a reaction to passenger feedback, which we do always take seriously.

"On reflection we are more than happy to display the image in the terminal and we'd like to apologise -- particularly to the exhibition organisers -- for the confusion," she added.

The poster of the famous artist’s painting was promoting the Picasso and Modern British Art exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern art. The exhibition runs at the gallery until November 4.

Kirk Urso dies: the cause still unexplored

Urso, a captain on the North Carolina men’s soccer team died early Sunday morning, August 5, 2012, in Columbus, Ohio. Before rushing to the hospital the 22 year-old captain was in the bar and collapsed in a stage.

An ambulance was called and he was rushed to the hospital where he died just an hour later. The initial results of an autopsy failed to determine the cause of Kirk Urso’s death. Urso had joined the Columbus Crew during the offseason between the 2011 and 2012 seasons after participating in the supplemental draft. He appeared in six games before an injury sidelined him in June.

He was expected to return to the team after he had fully recovered. Though tests are still pending, it appears that he died of a heart condition. Kirk Urso was never a member of the Philadelphia Union but several of the players and staff members on the team had connections to the player. Raymon Gaddis and Urso had grown up together and played soccer while young.

Michael Farfan, Gabriel Farfan and Amobi Okugo all played together with Urso in Bradenton. John Hackworth and Paul Rushing worked with Urso while with the U-17 United States men's national team. During Urso's time with that team, he played alongside Sheanon Williams and Zac MacMath. Though there are strong ties to some members of the Union, messages of condolence are also coming from those who did not know Urso, from fans, players and staffers all over the league and even from players and fans outside the MLS.

Urso's death was unexpected and a reminder that life is fragile. Though he had not been an active player with the Columbus Crew for several games, he was very much a part of the team. The MLS is certainly a small world and many of the players have played together, or against each other, before starting their professional careers.

It is a sad reminder that no matter how healthy someone may be, there may be unseen health problems that could appear at almost anytime. It is bittersweet to see the soccer community coming together to mourn one of its own. I am sure most fans, including me, are keeping the player's family in their thoughts and prayers.

Can Tyson Gay beat Usain Bolt today: Michael Johnson and Edwin Moses believe so

United States sprinter Tyson Gay can cause a huge shock by beating Usain Bolt in the men's 100-meter final today. It is srongly believed by Track legends Michael Johnson and Edwin Moses.

Johnson and Moses identified the key factors that Gay needs to execute to give himself a chance of taking Bolt's crown and staving off the challenge from a series of contenders including Yohan Blake, Asafa Powell, Justin Gatlin and Ryan Bailey.

Bolt's explosive speed created one of the greatest moments in Games history in Beijing four years ago when he scorched the track at the Bird's Nest stadium in a remarkable time of 9.69 seconds despite slowing down toward the finishing line.Gay, who is seeking his first Olympic medal, missed that meet with an injury and is content to have slipped under the radar leading into London. Much of the attention naturally has centered on Bolt and his rivalry with Jamaican teammate Blake.

Gay was solid in his heat on Saturday, running a controlled race of 10.08 into a considerable headwind. Bailey was the fastest qualifier at 9.88, Gatlin produced an impressive 9.97 and Blake looked relaxed and dangerous in running 10 seconds flat.

As for Bolt, he made a sluggish start, but responded quickly and jogged the last quarter of the race to record 10.09. No one is taking him lightly, and the world anticipates more sporting brilliance on Sunday night.
But Johnson, the 200 and 400 meter icon, is not so certain Bolt will repeat as Olympic champion.

Tyson Gay is going to be the one to watch. He is capable of making a tremendous start, has very good acceleration, beautiful technique and smooth transitions of speed. He is good enough to win.

Tyson Gay Vs Usain Bolt: Wins ?

THe most decorated Olympian ever Michale Phelps ends his career

Gold Medal man Phelps
The greatest olympin of all the time Michale Phelps swam his last on August 4, Saturday. His rivals gave him farewel with warm handshake line behind the blocks at the London Aquatics Centre and paid homage to Michael Phelps, the lord of the Olympic rings. In his racing finale Saturday night, as a member of the U.S. men's 4x100-meter medley relay, Phelps collected his 22nd medal, and 18th gold.

Before Phelps retired, he had one last trophy to collect: a statuette that recognized his place in Olympic history and resembled a crinkled piece of aluminum foil from a foot-long sandwich.
"It's kind of weird looking at this and seeing 'Greatest Olympian of All Time,' " Phelps said, adding: "I finished my career the way I wanted to. I think that's pretty cool."

It sounds ludicrous now, but when Phelps began his journey toward becoming the Tiger Woods of swimming, he had no clue what Mark Spitz had done. Unlike Woods -- who kept a tally, like a to-do list, of the feats of his golfing idol Jack Nicklaus -- Phelps was looking to the future when he put together the most ambitious Olympic swimming program in history.

Before he became the first swimmer to race in eight Olympic events at the 2004 Games, Phelps was fuzzy on the details of Spitz's career. It was left to his coach, Bob Bowman, to fill him in on Spitz's seven-gold-medal performance at the 1972 Olympics. Similarly, Phelps said he did not know until recently about the gymnast Larisa Latynina, who reigned for nearly five decades as the most-decorated Olympian, with 18 medals.

Some architects of history work from a blueprint, and others, like Phelps, don't want to acknowledge any ceiling. Phelps transformed swimming, inspiring a generation at home and abroad, by building an audacious program out of grit, guts and a geek's burning desire to make swimming cool for kids all over the world.
"I wanted to change the sport and take it to another level," Phelps said.

Phelps, also known as the Baltimore Bullet and flying fish, began swimming at the age of seven, partly because of the influence of his sisters and partly to provide him with an outlet for his energy. When Phelps was in the sixth grade, he was diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).By the age of 10, he held a national record for his age group, and Phelps began to train at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club under coach Bob Bowman. More age group records followed, and Phelps' rapid improvement culminated in his qualifying for the 2000 Summer Olympics at the age of 15 and becoming the youngest male to make a U.S. Olympic swim team in 68 years.

Phelps's international titles and record-breaking performances have earned him the World Swimmer of the Year Award six times and American Swimmer of the Year Award eight times. His unprecedented Olympic success in 2008 earned Phelps Sports Illustrated magazine's Sportsman of the Year award. After his last event, the international swimming federation FINA honored Phelps with an award commemorating his standing as the most decorated Olympian ever.

"Total Recall" Premier brings Francesca Eastwood and Jessica Biel with their contrary outfits

Francesca Eastwood and Jessica Biel with their contrary outfits appears at the "Total Recall" premier in Hollywood on Wednesday night, August 1. There also attended a number of famous celebrities, the special screening event was held at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. But concentration was around the two.

Beckinsale opted for a dramatic look by rocking a crocodile skin tube dress by Armani Prive. She oozed sexiness in the unconventional fishtail-cut gown that featured green and black hues. Arranging her brown hair into a loose bun, the English actress finished off her look with jewelries by Lorraine Schwartz and shoes by Brian Atwood.

Contrary to Beckinsale's daring look, Biel oozed her inner sweet girl persona in a baby pink gown by Dior. The fiancee of Justin Timberlake let her hair loose, while completing her girlie look with lots of silver jewelries by Tom Binns and two-tone Louis Vuitton pumps. She was also spotted sporting nail art that matched the color of her shoes.

Also spotted on the black carpet was leading man Colin Farrell, who opted to go with dapper three-piece black suit and arrived together with his sister. Director Len Wiseman also attended the event and at some points he was spotted wrapping his hands around his wife Beckinsale's hip while posing for the cameramen.

Among the celebrity guests, the Osbournes were the ones who stole the attention. Rock godfather Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne looked inseparable from each other, while their son Jack Osbourne was all smiles when arriving together with his fiancee Lisa Stelly.

Audrina Patridge, McKenzie Westmore and Meagan Good were also seen on the black carpet, donning skin-tight mini dress each. Clint Eastwood's model daughter Francesca Eastwood arrived together with her actress mother Frances Fisher, while Sophia Bush, who rocked boysih look, hit the black carpet solo. Joseph Lawrence, Bryan Cranston, Perrey Reeves and Aisha Tyler were the other famous faces spotted on the evening.

A remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 sci-fi movie, "Total Recall" follows factory worker Douglas Quaid who begins to believe that he's a spy, but he doesn't know whether he should work for the nation states of Euromerica or New Shanghai. In the meantime, the leader of Euromerica is secretly preparing an invasion of New Shanghai under the guise of protecting his people.

Gold medalist gymnast Shawn Johnson retired but in Dancing With The Stars floor

Shawn Johnson as a gymnast
Gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast and season 8, 2009, Dancing With The Stars champ Shawn Johnson announced her retirement from professional gymnastics back in early June but good news is that she is back in Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Season 15. Her knee injury causes the issue in terminating her athletic career, but we figured it might actually put the the 20-year-old Season 8 champion on a more level playing field with the rest of the DWTS contestants.

Apparently The Powers That Be at ABC were on the same wavelength because they didn’t waste any time in contacting Shawn about All-Stars.

"[DWTS producers] called the day I retired," Shawn told iVillage. "It was a really hard decision for me to make, I wanted to say yes right away but there was so much going on, I didn't know if it would be a right fit, if I was mentally ready for it and with everything going on.”

Obviously she decided to go ahead and she’ll be back with the new cast when the season starts on Monday, September 24. “I thought it would be a fun way to transition into a new phase in my life and try to get away from all this [gymnastics] for a little bit," she said.

On "Dancing With The Stars" floor
Shawn knows she faces stiff competition this time, from five other past champions and both of the finalists she beat back on Season 8: Gilles Marini and Melissa Rycroft. "It's going to be hard, and there are so many good dancers," Shawn said.

MORE: Pamela Anderson with Palin, Alley, Fatone etc. back in "Dancing With The Star"

"I'm so excited, I'm terrified, it's a whole new world." We’re guessing the gold-medal Olympian won’t be paired with Mark Ballas again, so it will be interesting to see which pro partner she’s assigned. That news will come out on Monday, August 13. The new season "Dancing With The Stars" premiers on September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
