'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?' video game-turned-animated series starring by Jennifer Lopez

J.Lo (Jennifer Lopez) is lined up to produce - and possibly star in - a big screen live-action version of the famous video game-turned-animated series "Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?," according to Deadline. The singer and Walden Media acquired rights to create the live-action film and though Lopez has signed on to produce, there are rumors that she would also star as Carmen Sandiego-Deadline said.

According to Walden Media’s statement, they are “developing it as a potential starring vehicle for Jennifer Lopez.” While Walden Media says that “no deal has been made yet” to have Lopez star as the notorious international thief, they say she is attached to the project as a producer. (EW reached out to Lopez’s rep who did not immediately respond to confirm.)

This wouldn't be the first time "Carmen Sandiego" was picked up as a movie. In the late '90s, Disney tried to develop a version starring Sandra Bullock, but it never materialized. Lopez recently wrapped production on the film "What to Expect When You're Expecting," co-starring Cameron Diaz.
